Jessica

Jessica Whitaker is a Seattle and NYC-based photographer and educator, and the founder of Build + Bloom®.

With an online community of more than 300k photographers, she has made it her goal to educate photographers on how they can build a sustainable photography business right in their own backyard - without stressing, scouring for clients, or losing their sanity and precious time.

Through her podcast, photography workshop, Youtube channel, and Facebook group, Jessica shows photographers of all skill levels how to make the most with what they have.

Build + Bloom® is a safe space for creatives, both online and in-person. This online community is made up of creative individuals of all levels. There is a spot at the table for everyone! In 2018, Jessica even had the pleasure of organizing, leading, and teaching eight workshops all around the United States, Paris, and London. These workshops were free admission to bring equal opportunity to anyone in the community, enabling them to change their legacy through a photography business. SisterxSister is the Build and Bloom volunteer stream for young girls in creative media. SisterxSister started in March 2018 and has met in over 16 cities across the United States with 1,200 girls in the roster.
