While I was born in Michigan, I've lived in various parts of the country, from Chicago to California, to Georgia and now, finally Houston. Although, my true home will always reside in Chicago where my love for photography and the creative arts bloomed. Currently I work as a research coordinator at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston as I have a huge passion for mental health and photography has always been a form of self-care for me as I work in that field. I found photography to be soothing and almost meditative in a way as we get the privilege to capture moments that encourage us to pause and reflect during our daily busy lives. During my free time I chase after pink skies, look at dog instagrams wishing I could have one, and sip in my favorite matcha. As a photographer, I am looking to delve professionally into wedding and portrait-lifestyle photography and find exhiliration in capturing those organic, natural moments of intimacy and authenticity in a person.
